As an Associate Attorney at Mathur Law Offices, P.C., you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, representing clients in criminal defense matters, and working cases from pre-trial motions to trial—all while benefiting from the support of a well-established firm.

- Represent clients in criminal defense cases in court, handling cases from pre-trial motions through to trial
- Manage and develop a personal caseload, including both misdemeanors and felonies
- Prepare and argue motions, including suppression motions, bond hearings, and other pretrial matters
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, and pretrial motions
- Conduct legal research and prepare trial strategies
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and law enforcement professionals
- Advise clients on their legal rights, options, and potential outcomes
- Maintain strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in criminal defense
- Active license to practice law in Texas
- Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom skills
- Ability to handle a busy caseload with excellent attention to detail
- Must bill between 130-180 hours per month to meet target compensation
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and excellent interpersonal communication
