They are currently staffing a complex, high-profile project for their major New York City based client, a leader in the financial services & insurance industry, based in a landmark building in Manhattan.

Role Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled Mid-Level & Senior Product Designers to join our team for a project with our high profile client. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a sophisticated product with a complex workflow, which involves designing for multiple user types across responsive interfaces. As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead design efforts from concept through execution, collaborating closely with Mid-Level Designers, product managers, and development teams. You will also be expected to present your work both internally and to clients with a high level of professionalism and strategic insight.
You’ll work within a hybrid team setting that requires deep collaboration and problem-solving, delivering thoughtful, user-centric designs that balance both business goals and technical feasibility. We are looking for a designer with exceptional skills in both visual and interaction design who can lead and mentor others while driving the design vision forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery to prototyping and final implementation, providing leadership in design direction and execution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, copywriters, and developers to deliver cohesive, user-centric designs.
- Client Interaction: Present and articulate your designs to clients in a clear, compelling way; advocate for design decisions while maintaining alignment with client objectives.
- User-Centered Design: Translate business requirements and research insights into user stories, personas, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Interaction Design: Define and refine interaction models and behavior flows for complex products, ensuring smooth, intuitive user experiences.
- Visual Design: Create high-quality visual designs, including UI screens, style guides, and design systems that maintain consistency and elevate the user experience.
- Prototyping & Testing: Develop interactive prototypes in Figma and Keynote, and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts.
- Research & Strategy: Conduct competitive audits, market analysis, and user research to inform design decisions, ensuring that the product resonates with users and meets business objectives.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor junior designers, offering constructive feedback and fostering a culture of growth and excellence within the design team.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in designing complex digital products.
- Proven experience delivering products for national or global brands, ideally in a consultancy or agency setting.
- Expertise in both visual design and interaction design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive, beautiful user experiences.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Keynote, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and explain design concepts and rationale to clients and stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to execute design solutions.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and balance business goals, technical constraints, and user needs.
- Experience designing for enterprise software or complex systems is a plus.
- An outstanding portfolio demonstrating excellence in design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with responsive design and working on multi-platform products.
- Experience in the financial services, insurance, or enterprise software sectors is a plus.
- Ability to create and maintain design systems and libraries.
- Expertise in conducting and synthesizing user research, including interviews, usability testing, and customer journey mapping.
- Experience in presenting strategic design recommendations to high-level clients and executives.
