Job Title: Project Manager – Ringfence Project (Finance Data Integrity & Reporting)

Location: Primarily remote, with the expectation to come in office 1x quarter. Office is in Santa Monica, CA

Contract length: 9 months

Our client, a leading global company in the music and entertainment industry, is seeking a talented Project Manager to lead their Ringfence Project within the US Finance Data Integrity & Reporting group. This role requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing large-scale projects while coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define Project Requirements & Scope: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop and Manage Project Plan: Create and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate Cross-Departmental Resources & Schedules: Work closely with various teams to ensure alignment on timelines, resources, and responsibilities.
• Facilitate Regular Meetings: Lead project team meetings, providing progress updates, identifying risks, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Adapt and Implement Procedures: Implement necessary procedures to handle changes in project scope or deliverables.
• Quality Assurance Coordination: Partner with the QA team to review application deliverables at key checkpoints throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop Review Schedules and Acceptance Criteria: Establish review schedules and criteria for each phase of the project to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Draft Communications: Prepare and communicate project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Periodic Project Quality Review: Conduct regular project reviews to ensure alignment with established standards.
• Revenue Recognition: Collaborate with the US Finance team on revenue recognition for Ringfence repertoire.
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Project Management: Strong project planning, judgment, and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present to and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitation & Organization: Ability to facilitate meetings, keep projects on track, and maintain organization across teams.
• People Management & Leadership: Proven leadership capabilities, including coaching, training, and motivating team members.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in a similar industry, preferably within the entertainment or media sector, is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Big Query, SQL, Microstrategy (a plus), and Microsoft Suite.
  
  

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  
  

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Experience with project estimation, modeling, and programming techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience in a Shared Service environment is a plus.
  
  

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $40-$44.16 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
