We are seeking a Social Media Creative Director to lead and innovate our client’s social media strategy, content, and creative execution. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of digital storytelling, social trends, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creative direction, brand strategy, and content production experience to drive social-first campaigns that elevate brand awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $50-60 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.

Responsibilities
- Lead the creative strategy for all social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand identity and marketing goals.
- Oversee the development of high-impact, visually compelling content tailored for each platform, including video, graphics, and copy.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep content fresh, innovative, and engaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, design, and production—to ensure cohesive messaging and storytelling.
- Manage and mentor a team of social media designers, videographers, and content creators.
- Develop and execute influencer and brand partnership strategies to expand reach and engagement.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to refine content strategies and improve audience engagement.
- Drive real-time content creation and engagement, capitalizing on cultural moments and viral trends.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice across platforms.
- Experiment with new content formats, storytelling techniques, and interactive features to push creative boundaries.
- 5 years of experience in social media content creation, creative direction, or digital marketing.
- Proven track record of leading social-first campaigns that drive engagement and brand growth.
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
- Experience in managing and inspiring creative teams, including designers, writers, and videographers.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with an ability to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, and social media management platforms.
- Passion for digital culture, internet trends, and emerging technologies in social media.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
