What are the responsibilities and job description for the Durable Medical Equipment Sales Specialist (two years DME, five years sales exp req) position at Matia Mobility?
Position Summary:
Since our team first came together, our goal has always been to develop technology that will help people—specifically people with walking disabilities. We designed the Tek RMD to add more freedom to the lives of individuals with walking disabilities, allowing them to live in places not designed for them, and to move more independently in the world. With the buzz we received from around the world, the timing is right to dramatically expand our presence in the marketplace.
As a Sales Specialist, you are responsible for establishing, growing, and maintaining customer relationships to increase sales revenue within a multi-state geography. Up to 70% travel including multiple overnights per week is to be expected. You will work with both prescribing clinicians and end users to demonstrate how the Tek RMD provides the user the ability to independently and safely sit, stand, and navigate environments that were once inaccessible. This position works in a field-based environment but coordinates closely with Marketing, Production, Service, and the Executive team.
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated success selling mobility devices such as power wheelchairs to end users.

- Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Gather, analyze, and share information from the field to allow the company to develop strategies and products appropriate to the market.
