Mativ is currently searching for a Market Development intern to join our Marketing team next summer. This intern position is a great opportunity to get exposure to different global business processes and Mativ management. We are looking for a curious and driven intern with a basic understanding of marketing and business development principles.
The Mativ Summer Internship Program is scheduled to start on May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025. Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including: meaningful work, dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development and more.
responsibilities
In this position, the intern will report into the Sr Product Manager and have an opportunity to be a part of the Sustainable and Adhesive Solutions segment. Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Organize baseline price, sales trends and margin information
- Analyze product costing to identify opportunities for optimization through the value chain
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify key insights and trends.
- Support the development of strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights.
- Assess competitive landscape to inform insights and recommendations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the quality of insights delivered.
qualifications:
Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a related major.
- Minimum GPA-3.0.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills with willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Ideal candidates will possess high initiative and drive, with a curiosity to perpetually learn and improve our business.
- Key requirements include the ability to analyzeinformation to find opportunities, effectively communicate, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
