Matkin Hoover Engineering & Surveying is an established civil engineering and land surveying firm headquartered in Boerne, Texas and satellite offices in Georgetown, Texas and Houston, Texas.
We are seeking a full-time RPLS to support its survey efforts primarily in the Spring area. The RPLS is responsible for directing surveys and mapping projects from field to finish within required time frames, budgets, and contract requirements. Looking for experience in Residential, Commercial and Platting Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Aid in planning, organizing, and directing survey projects; schedule project in logical steps and budget time and resources required to meet deadlines and profitability targets. *Review project contracts to ensure that survey data and results are presented in compliance with contract requirements.
Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience, or equivalent combination of work experience and education. RPLS in Texas Strong organizational skills with an emphasis for detail and meeting deadlines. Ability to plan and execute projects from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge and experience with Civil3D software. Knowledge of all types of surveys; ALTA/NSPS, Boundary, Topographic, Tree, etc., as well as construction staking and GPS experience. Candidate must be legally eligible and insurable to drive to regular assignments.
