Job Title: Agile Business Analyst

Location: Newark, DE (no relocation, must be local to Newark DE area)

Contract Duration: 12-18 months. W2 only, No C2C and no visa sponsorship

Position Summary:

The agile analyst will work with IT and the Business and tech partners to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

Responsible for combining business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills.

-Serves as a servant leader and the ultimate facilitator between Business/dev partners and IT in truly understanding the needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle.

-Guides the team to be self organized.

-Will remove impediments and guide the team to resolve issues or escalate to leadership as needed.

-Using proven methods and tools, this position leads the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning & support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups.

-This position may also be called upon to lead other IT project work based on changing project demands.

- Minimum of 7 years experience in a technical product manager role in a project-based environment.

Required (hard) skills/experience

Primary Skill- Agile tools (Jira)

-Experience in working on multiple projects at the same time.

-Intermediate Word. Intermediate Excel.

-Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies and working experience in agile tools like JIRA/Confluence is preferable

-Enforces best practices for BA team including change management quality for the development team

-Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies / techniques.

-Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.

Desired skills/experience

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 4 year experience in related field.
