Job Summary:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering and analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Code design and delivery tasks associated with the integration, cleaning, transformation, and control of data in operational and analytics data systems.
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights.
- Review Data Collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Data requirements gathering and plan for delivering
- Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ad-hoc reports.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filter and "clean" data sets, and performance indicators to locate and correct data quality problems.
- Work with Management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Conduct research, analysis and recommend solution on data quality problems.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solution.
Must Haves
- 6 years of proven hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong track record of building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of database modeling, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in SQL scripting, with hands-on experience writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
- Proficiency in Python, leveraging it for data processing, automation, and analytics.
- Experience working with large datasets, particularly using Teradata and Oracle.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and accountability.
