Job Title: Data Engineer
Duration: 12months - 18 months
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid)
Required Pay Scale: $70hr - $76hr

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering and analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. Code design and delivery tasks associated with the integration, cleaning, transformation, and control of data in operational and analytics data systems. Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights. Review Data Collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Data requirements gathering and plan for delivering Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ad-hoc reports. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Filter and "clean" data sets, and performance indicators to locate and correct data quality problems. Work with Management to prioritize business and information needs. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Conduct research, analysis and recommend solution on data quality problems. Collaborate with various teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solution.
Must Haves
- 6 years of proven hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong track record of building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of database modeling, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in SQL scripting, with hands-on experience writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
- Proficiency in Python, leveraging it for data processing, automation, and analytics.
- Experience working with large datasets, particularly using Teradata and Oracle.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and accountability.
