Duration : 8 Month contract to hire

Description :
The HR Technology Advisor is a global functional position responsible for enhancing, configuring, maintaining, and expanding the functionality of Workday HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Business Processes, and additional Workday functionality. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of Workday configuration, understand all solution components, how they inter-operate to support global business processes and has demonstrated strong project management skills. Will act as the liaison between the vendors, the business, and IT. Will be responsible for successfully delivering complex systems implementations. Executes system enhancements, including new functionality rollouts and modifications of existing functionality and coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including test documentation and post-implementation support. Documents processes via job aides and knowledge-based articles. Ensures that processes and procedures adhere to defined audit and internal controls. Will act as an advisor and solutions architect to the team.
Job Responsibilities :
Manage new project / enhancement requests from initiation through post implementation support including configurationCollect and translate business process requirements into a functional solution designPartner with the integration team to ensure proper integration with functional configuration.Configure Workday to meet the functional needsPrepare project deliverables including (but not limited to) project plans, process flows, functional requirements, and UAT test plans and test scriptsLead cross functional HR Technology projects through design and implementationOngoing SupportPreserve overall system health; regularly engage with HR Operations and the business to understand operational challenges and aid in root cause problem resolutionMonitor health of module and drive continuous process improvements leveraging a clear understanding of local requirements ( regulatory changes) and how they would impact the systemMonitor Workday community for reported bugs, fixes, and new enhancements relative to assigned modulesJob Requirements :
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.5 years implementation and support experience with Workday and / or other related HR systemsBe an expert in implementing and configuring Workday Core HCM and at least 2-3 of the following Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Business Processes on a global scale.Well-developed leadership and project management capabilities with demonstrated success completing multiple cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural projects.Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines; must be able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem solving, root cause analysis, and associated solution implementation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work and / or lead effectively on virtual teams training sessions.Ability to breakdown high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needsAbility to drive and challenge the business on their requirementsTrack record of being the go-to person for designing functional and technical system solutions to solve business problemsProven ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity and to manage conflictSelf-starter with proven ability to anticipate problems and take proactive, decisive action, giving regard to the impact on the system, business needs and user populationSolid understanding of software lifecycle development (SDLC) methodologiesFamiliar with data privacy and other regulatory requirementsAbout Matlen Silver
