Project Details :
Prod Support to support a small internal Associate facing tool that sores metadata, built mostly in older Java versions and oracle Database with Clunky UI. Need Prod Support to help push code to production using Ansible TowerKey Responsibilities :
Provide production support for applications and systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.Perform code deployments to production environments, adhering to best practices and change management processes.Triage and troubleshoot incidents, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.Participate in incident management, including coordination with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues.Monitor system performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks or failures.Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from data warehouses for reporting and troubleshooting purposes.Collaborate with developers and system administrators to improve system reliability and deployment processes.Document support processes, incident resolutions, and system configurations for future reference.Must-Have Skills & Qualifications :
Ansible Tower : Proficiency in automating deployment and configuration management tasks using Ansible Tower.JavaScript : Strong scripting skills to support front-end troubleshooting and automation tasks.Java : Experience supporting and debugging Java-based applications in a production environment.Tomcat : Hands-on expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing Apache Tomcat servers.RedHat : In-depth knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux for system administration and troubleshooting.Linux : Strong command of Linux environments, including shell scripting and system monitoring.Oracle and SQL : Expertise in Oracle database administration and writing SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from data warehouses.Proven experience with code deployments, triaging production issues, and participating in incident management processes.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.About Matlen Silver
