National Accounts Foodservice Sales Manager (Full-Time)

In this role you will:
- Drive Growth & Partnerships—Expand Matriark Foods’ footprint by developing and managing strategic partnerships with leading Business & Industry (B&I), Healthcare, Colleges & Universities (C&U) and Emerging Chains that share our commitment to sustainability.
- Lead with Passion—Bring a deep commitment to sustainability and food equity, paired with a strong track record of sales success.
- Own Sales Strategy—Collaborate closely with the CEO and Marketing / Retail Sales teams to shape and execute sales strategies that drive revenue and impact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow Matriark’s existing foodservice accounts with the nation’s top operators already in Matriark’s pipeline
- Achieve exponential growth within key foodservice segments, including B I; Corporate Dining; Higher Education, Healthcare; Stadiums; commercial quick-service operators/fast casual.
- Engage culinary decision makers in creative and impactful use of products
- Drive engagement on sustainability and diverse supply spend
- Strengthen and expand distribution, maintaining established relationships while securing new distribution for growth.
- Travel for key tradeshows, foodservice membership events, and high-impact operator calls
- Own sales performance, ensuring accountability to sales and expense budgets
- Develop an annual sales forecast, leveraging accurate pipeline management to drive strategic growth
- Collaborate on KPI development, building a successful roadmap to achieve ambitious goals
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align sales efforts with marketing, operations, and overall business strategy

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 years in foodservice sales
- Culinary knowledge
- Proven track record in selling direct accounts (operator and distributor) and executing all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Aptitude for pricing and contract negotiation.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with exacting attention to follow up and follow through
- Ability to interpret industry shifts and creatively pivot sales strategy based on external environment
- Excellent ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work in a small, lean team of self-starters, and work through the weeds when crunch-time hits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (email, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Suite
- Proficient in managing databases
- Excellent writing and communication skills, and attention to detail
Preferred
- 4-year degree
COMPENSATION: $110K (depending on experience) base salary plus commission and opportunity to grow. This is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits including paid vacation and holidays, paid sick leave, and health/dental insurance.
