Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with assemblers, supervisors, and engineers to ensure successful production and testing of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Ensure assemblies are manufactured in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with product specifications and quality system requirements.
- Support the request for quotation process by estimating labor times and identifying equipment or tooling needs.
- Develop assembly jigs and fixtures to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Research, specify, select, and justify manufacturing equipment.
- Evaluate new products for manufacturability and implement Engineering Changes.
- Recommend optimal manufacturing layouts for safe and efficient production.
- Monitor product quality during manufacturing to assure conformance to requirements.
- Maintain a safe and productive working environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
