Matrix Asset Advisors, Inc. is an independent investment advisor with 12 employees located in White Plains, NY. Matrix manages assets on behalf of individuals and institutions in Large Cap Equity and high quality fixed income strategies. Assets total $1 Billion and include approximately 1,000 client accounts. The Operations department consists of a team of three employees reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and dedicated to maintaining the integrity of client account records and providing accurate client account information using the Advent AXYS portfolio accounting system.

The Client Service department consists of three Partners of the firm and will be responsible for preparing new account paperwork and various day-to-day client requests that arise. Experience with direct client communication preferred.

Experience with the Advent suite of portfolio accounting systems (AXYS, DATAPORT) is required, along with Microsoft Excel.

We are seeking an experienced (one to three years) Operations / Client Service Associate to join the team that is responsible for the following:

• AXYS DataPort interface management
• Daily Account Data Downloads – DataPort
• Compile New account paperwork, forms and communications to clients utilizing templates
• Monthly Account Reconciliations
• Preparing/Reviewing/Mailing Quarterly Client Reports
• Update Contact Management System (RedTail)
• Process Money Transfers
• Assist with answering telephone calls
• Ensuring Taxable Account Cost Basis Matches Custodians
• Account Maintenance – Security Movements, Account Mergers, Transfers
• Periodic and Ad-hoc Management Reporting
• Microsoft Access Client Database Queries
• Back-up and Cross-train for Other Team Members
• Assist Chief Operating Officer with Other Department Projects as Needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
