What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airline Guest Service Agent position at Matrix Aviation Services, Inc.?
Matrix Aviation Services (an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer) in cooperation with a major Chinese international airline is offering immediate employment opportunities at Ontario International Airport (ONT) with paid training, uniforms, 50/50 employee parking, accrued PTO (Paid Time Off), starting at $19.25 per hour.
Some of the Customer Service functions include:
- Ticketing, verifying guest documentation; Guest check-in and assistance
- Gate management/announcements regarding flight activity
- Baggage Service
- Learn and operate a computerized reservations system
- Assist unaccompanied minors and special needs guests
- Complete daily reports and other assigned duties
- Work in a team environment
Qualifications:
- Bilingual ENGLISH/ CHINESSE
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Must successfully pass a 10-year federal background check and obtain an Airport SIDA badge
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma, GED or six months' work experience with Customer Service
-Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends
-Competent in handling difficult situations;
-Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
