Summary :
Responsible for performing various general accounting duties and serve as a back-up Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Administrator in an accurate and timely manner, professionally assisting vendors and employees with questions, discretely handling sensitive and confidential company and employee information and general accounting support.
Salary Range :
30.00 - $35.00 per hour. Salary will be dependent upon experience and skill set. Final offer of this position will be contingent on the candidate successfully passing a background check.
Essential Functions :
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- General journal entries, to include monthly labor distributions, accruals and bi-weekly payroll journal entries.
- Manage rent and asset ledgers.
- Researching any discrepancies in G / L balances.
- Assisting accounting director with monthly closings and / or reviews of all G / L accounts
- Assist with making check and EFT deposits as needed.
- May occasionally assist project accountants with certain invoicing or client payment issues.
- May occasionally process incoming vendor invoices, ensure proper approvals, and enter into ERP.
- May review any vendor statements received, respond to vendor inquiries and communication.
- Assist with monthly and year-end credit card reconciliations.
- Provide reports to director, executive team, and third-party accountants as requested.
- Assist with accounts receivable and special projects as needed.
- Quality checks all work.
