Accounting Manager

Are you an Accounting Manager or Accounting Supervisor looking for a hybrid position in Downtown Seattle? If so, this position is for you! You will be joining and stable business with a strong accounting team. This position requires a candidate to live locally and work in the office three to four days per week. This role will be very involved in the month-end close and then transition to financial analysis and variance analysis work mid-month. A great blend of both accounting & finance!

Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of the month-end close process and preparation of the business unit financial package
• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, GL functions, treasury functions, and liquidity management
• Supervise accounts payable, ensure timely and accurate vendor payment with day to day ACH, Wire and Check payments
• Supervise billing activities and maintain positive customer relationships
• Consolidate Work-in-progress of time and expenses for revenue accrual and billing
• Perform internal reporting including invoicing, work in progress, work authorizations, and profit and loss for each matter.

Qualifications

• 5 years prior experience in finance/accounting related position
• Accounting/GAAP Knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
• QuickBooks experience is helpful!
