What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at Matrix Finance and Accounting?
If you're a Project Accountant, stifled at your current job, ready to take that next step with an industry leader then this opportunity is for you. As Project Accountant, you will start off working on key projects, performing all financial reporting. You will manage loan draws, working with owners and investors, maintain GL, trial balance on projects, oversee cash flow, pay invoices, log journal entries, accruals, and job costing. You will also manage project budgets, analyzing variances, and work closely with PM's and other related parties to ensure timely reporting and project success. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration, and 2 years of industry experience in construction. Advanced degrees desired but not required. Stellar communication skills, outgoing personality, positivity, and natural people skills are desirable traits. Comp range $85-95K, DOE, great benefits!
