Our Seattle-based client is looking to hire a Senior Payroll Specialist! The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Experience with Paylocity is preferred but not required.Key Responsibilities : Process and manage semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using Paylocity.Administer payroll functions in accordance with union contracts, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and benefits contributions.Review and interpret collective bargaining agreements to ensure payroll compliance with union rules and regulations.Manage and reconcile payroll-related accounts, including deductions, garnishments, and benefits.Prepare and submit required union reports, including remittances and dues reporting.Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity within the Paylocity system.Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and payroll regulations.Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters, including audits and reporting.Stay updated on changes to payroll laws, union agreements, and Paylocity system updates.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function Accounting / Auditing and Human ResourcesIndustries Accounting#J-18808-Ljbffr
