Key Responsibilities:
- Press Brake Operation:
- Set up, operate, and maintain press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts according to customer specifications and blueprints.
- Adjust machine settings, including tonnage, bend angles, and other parameters to ensure precise and accurate parts.
- Inspect finished pieces for quality, ensuring they meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Laser Cutting:
- Operate and maintain laser cutting machines to produce high-quality cuts in sheet metal materials.
- Program and adjust cutting parameters (e.g., power, speed, focus) based on material type and thickness.
- Troubleshoot any issues with the laser cutting process, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality output.
- Laser Welding:
- Operate laser welding equipment to join metal parts with precision.
- Perform quality checks during and after welding to ensure weld strength, consistency, and precision.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform regular inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Sheet Metal Rolling:
- Set up and operate sheet metal rolling machines to roll sheets and coils into specific forms, such as cylinders, cones, or custom shapes.
- Monitor the rolling process for accuracy, adjusting settings as necessary to meet design requirements.
- Ensure all rolled components meet the required dimensional specifications and quality standards.
- Quality Control & Inspection:
- Perform regular inspections of metal parts, checking for defects, dimensional accuracy, and finish quality.
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify the accuracy of cuts, bends, and welds.
- Communicate any defects or deviations to supervisors and assist in problem-solving efforts to meet production targets.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of materials, operating machinery, and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to prevent accidents and ensure operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding quality, environmental, and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience with press brake operation, laser cutting, laser welding, and sheet metal rolling in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and metalworking tools.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques and metalworking materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine and production issues.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.

Pay: $18.16 - $21.00 per hour
