Key Responsibilities
- Execute and complete assigned tasks related to patient care across diverse populations.
- Administer patient care with sound judgment and appropriate procedure selection based on individual conditions.
- Monitor and respond to patients’ needs for care, including medication administration and educational support.
- Prepare and deliver prescribed medications via various methods, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Identify urgent patient care situations, consulting with RNs and MDs/DOs to initiate necessary emergency interventions.
- Assist in complex diagnostic tests and specialized procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
- Facilitate orientation for peers and ancillary personnel on unit policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Promote a healthy workplace environment, enhancing patient care delivery and fostering employee satisfaction.
- Strong clinical acumen in patient care delivery.
- Ability to effectively assess and respond to patient needs.
- Proficiency in medication preparation and administration.

- Must possess a current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.
