CargoWise Application Analyst / Functional Analyst

International Supply Chain and Logistics company in Dallas / Fort Worth is hiring a CargoWise Application Analyst / Engineer / SME for a long-term contract (12 months) role in their IT department. Will demonstrate strong knowledge and abilities with CargoWise One. At this company, CargoWise is only used for Transportation Management for international. This role can be onsite, hybrid or 100% remote. Will interview and make a hiring decision quickly for a strong CargoWise candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the CargoWise Application Analyst / Engineer / SME on this team, you will work with a system that processes around 10,000 transactions per day. This system has been in place for several years, but it is not being utilized to its full potential. A big focus of yours in this role, will be the configuration of CargoWise, to enhance the workflows, capabilities, and improve integration.

• Gather and document functional, Technical and/or Integration requirements.
• Support new setup that impacts existing system functionality, adds new functionality or for new business.
• Work closely with various user groups to review system setups and propose changes to meet business needs.
• Perform problem determination and resolution for production issues, as needed.
• Document Use Cases and Test Cases and perform testing..
• Create, Review, Update Work instructions and Procedure document, as needed.
• Develop SQL reports, as needed.
• Assist with the onboarding of new trading partners.

Additionally, these are Cargowise services licensed in this environment, but it is not required to have extensive experience in all of these areas to perform well in this role:

  • Pre Departure Manifest (eManifest, AMS, ACI, ICS, AFR etc) Consolidation, Organization, Payables
• Customs & Country Specific Integrations - Export Formal Customs/Statistics Entry Compliance
  • Export Formal Clearance / Fiscal Report Includes Air/Sea Schedules, Address Cleansing & Geocoding, Denied Party Screening* (*External Services)
• Customs & Country Specific Integrations - Import Formal Customs Entry Compliance
  • Import Clearance Full / Detailed Formal Entry / Fiscal Report Includes Air/Sea Schedules, Address Cleansing & Geocoding, Denied Party Screening* (*External Services)
  • Land Border Clearance (Truck and Rail)
• Customs & Country Specific Integrations - Special Entry Types
  • Free Trade Zone Entry/Protest/Reconciliation/B2 Entries
  • Intransit / InBond / Underbond Movement Request (From Customs Menu)
• Messaging and Electronic Submission - Airlines Messaging (FWB/FHL//FSR)
• Tracking Functions - Railinc Tracking Event
• Ocean Carrier Messaging - FCL Booking/Shipping Instruction/Shipping Order (China)/Registered Container (USD)
• Container Automation (formerly known as Global Container Tracking)
• LCL Tracking & Automation
• Accounting and Invoicing Compliance Engine
• Air Waybill Automation
• BorderWise

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 7 years implementing and/or supporting Wisetech CargoWise One
• Experience Driving process optimization
• Knowledge of CargoWise Security Administration.
• Ability to document technical details (specific APIs, connection details, etc) to Integration developer
• Familiar with Inbound and Outbound eAdapter setup
• Able to modify and create new workflows as needed
• Excellent communication skills
