OVERVIEW

Join our team as a Receptionist!

This is an in-office role based out of our Maumee, Ohio office. The position is hourly and includes eligibility for overtime pay.

This position provides a central point of coordination for the office, both internally and externally, as reflected by the duties listed below. As the receptionist often serves as the initial contact with Matrix Technologies, it is important that she/he maintains a congenial and helpful attitude at all times and projects this image in communications with clients and others calling or visiting the office, as well as with the employees.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer and direct incoming calls
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Use paging system to notify employees of calls and visitors if needed
  • Greet interview candidates
  • Perform functions associated with mailing or delivery of incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages. Direct larger packages to shipping dock.
  • Send and receive facsimiles and notify recipients.
  • Schedule vehicle travel arrangements for the Maumee office to include:
  • Company vehicles
  • Rentals
  • Schedule use of conference rooms, hotel cubicles and assist in arrangements for meetings as requested (placing lunch orders, etc.).
  • Maintain logs including:
  • Rentals
  • EZ PASS usage
  • T-Mobile hotspots
  • Digital Cameras
  • Fleet cars/vans and keys
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by HR staff.
  • Support to other departments as needed.
  • Remain at front desk between 8:00 am EST and 5:00 pm EST, except for:
  • Lunch break (1 hour)
  • Scheduled breaks (no more than two 15-minute periods per day)
  • Rest room visits as necessary
  • Exceptions as authorized by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate degree in business related field preferred
  • 1-2 years reception experience staffing a front desk and managing multiple phone lines
  • Proficiency with MS Tools including Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Organizational skills
  • Attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, and hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to hazardous locations, inclement weather, moving mechanical parts, noise, ladders, uneven ground, and stairs.
  • This employee may perform industrial field work which could include exposure to a wide range of known food allergens.

We offer market-competitive compensation for a Receptionist with a range of $17 to $22 hourly, and a total compensation package that includes quarterly bonuses, 401(k) matching, and overtime pay. Hourly rates are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
