What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at Matrix Visual Solutions?
1) Quality Control (when applicable via position rotations)
- Thoroughly test & QC all rental inventory to ensure all equipment is at the highest quality possible
- Monitor and facilitate the disposition of any equipment found to be damaged or in need of repair during the QC process
- Communicate progress and/or potential issues with immediate supervisors and/or managers
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- 2) Fulfillment (when applicable via position rotations)
2) Inbound-
- Receive incoming orders and/or transfers in a timely and accurate manner
- Inspect incoming equipment for damages and process appropriately
- Communicate any discrepancies to immediate supervisors and/or managers
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
3) Outbound-
- Pull, stage and scan outbound orders and/or transfers in a timely and accurate manner
- Appropriately package and label outbound orders to ensure our clients receive the highest quality product possible
- Communicate any discrepancies to immediate supervisors and/or managers in a timely manner to ensure on-time departures
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
Qualifications- Previous A/V industry experience is requiredWorking Conditions- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and/or weekendsPhysical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basisRequired Education:High school diploma or equivalent GED
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Technical aptitude as well as computer and/or computer networking skills a plus.
- Good communication and organizational skills required
- Ability to self-motivate and adjust to changing priorities as well as a willingness to take ownership of the position
- Strong work ethic, integrity, attention to detail, level-headed, sense of humor, and a great attitude
- Availability to work overtime during peak seasons
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide exemplary “can do” service for both internal and external clients
- Standard working shift is 9 hours
- Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving. Physical activities include using hand tools, bending, stooping, pushing, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
- LED equipment is generally heavy and bulky.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
