Founded in 2016 by a Stanford professor, Matroid has a broad and rapidly growing set of customers in manufacturing, industrial IoT, government and security.
We are looking for a Computer Vision Intern who is excited about working with the latest deep learning research to evaluate, improve and productionize new techniques. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, surrounded by experts who are passionate about their work.
This position is onsite at our new downtown Palo Alto office, located near the Stanford campus and Caltrain.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct literature reviews and survey a specific research domain, such as object tracking, panoptic segmentation, anomaly detection, or edge deployment.
- Perform experiments to figure out how best to adapt existing research to specific use-cases.
- Build prototypes to demonstrate the effectiveness of your approach.
- Work with your mentor to integrate your work into production.
