ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design innovative features for a first-of-its-kind computer vision platform.Optimize both client-side and server-side performance to enhance efficiency.Identify and implement new technologies and best practices for a growing engineering team.Incorporate user feedback to improve the functionality and usability of the platform.Develop visualizations for computer vision model outputs applied to images and video streams.Ensure platform scalability to support increasing workloads. QualificationsStrong understanding of modern JavaScript development, with or without deep familiarity with every nuance of the language.Self-starter with the ability to independently design, develop, and test new features.Comfortable working across the stack—optimizing database queries, refining user interfaces, and improving system performance.Strong sense of design and usability, with a focus on creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces.Quick learner with analytical skills, capable of adapting to unfamiliar technologies or languages.No strict background requirements, but a technical foundation is essential—this may come from a CS (or related) degree, a bootcamp with a strong portfolio, or hands-on industry experience.Experience with areas relevant to a startup specializing in computer vision—such as data visualization, scaling web applications, or DevOps—is a plus.Willingness and eligibility to obtain security clearance up to TS / SCI.
