Responsibilities:
-Install and configure alarm systems, including sensors, control panels, and monitoring equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
-Set up and program audio-visual equipment such as projectors, speakers, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
-Conduct routine maintenance on alarm and AV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
-Troubleshoot technical issues with alarm and AV systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
-Provide training and technical support to clients on how to use alarm and AV systems effectively.
-Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute installations and upgrades according to project timelines.
-Keep accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and service calls.
-Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in alarm and AV technology to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
-Proven experience installing and servicing alarm systems, preferably in a commercial or residential setting.
-Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and schematics.
-Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
-Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and systems, including wiring, connections, and troubleshooting techniques.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong knowledge of power tools and their safe usage
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
