Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure vehicles are in top condition.
- Diagnostics: Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
- Repairs: Perform repairs and replacements on critical vehicle components like brakes, suspension, exhaust, engines, and transmissions.
- Collaboration: Communicate repair recommendations effectively with service advisors and customers. Provide accurate timelines for repairs.
- Safety and Standards: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and ensure all work is documented properly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as an Auto Technician, ideally in a dealership or independent shop setting.
- Certifications: ASE/Nissan certifications required. Additional certifications in engine repair, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension are a plus.
- Skills: Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Tools: Must bring your own tools and be ready to work with state-of-the-art equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team of professionals.
