Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Submittal and Cancellation Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of warranty submissions and cancellations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This role is essential in maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and reconcile warranty receivables and work with warranty companies to resolve discrepancies.
- Process warranty cancellations and ensure customer accounts are appropriately updated.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all warranty claims and cancellations.
- Coordinate with dealership staff to gather necessary information and documentation for warranty claims.
- Stay updated on policies, procedures, and changes related to warranty claims.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to warranty status and procedures.
- Assist in preparing warranty-related reports and analyses as required by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in automotive services or administration is a plus.
- Previous experience of a warranty processing or similar clerical role in an automotive setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications related to warranty processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems is a plus.
