As a Purpose-Driven Trailer Driver, you’ll be an essential part of our team, responsible for hauling appliances, equipment, scrap, and other materials between our storage facilities, distributors, and other locations. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

You’ll be hauling, loading, unloading, and ensuring all materials are transported securely and efficiently, all while embodying the values of service, safety, and teamwork that define our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hauling and Transporting: Safely drive trailers to haul appliances, equipment, scrap, and other materials between various locations, including storage facilities and distributors.
• Loading and Unloading: Oversee the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. Ensure that everything is properly secured for transport to avoid any damage during transit.
• Scrap Hauling: Collect and transport scrap materials to designated disposal or recycling sites, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Vehicle Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of your vehicle and trailer to ensure they are in safe working condition. Report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Route Planning and Coordination: Work with the team to plan the best routes for hauling to maximize efficiency and minimize delays. Make real-time adjustments as needed.
• Warehouse and Inventory Support: Help organize materials in the warehouse, assist with unloading and loading, and ensure inventory is handled properly.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Keep your vehicle and trailer clean and organized, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and in working order.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to commute or relocate to Lake Charles, LA 70601 (required).
• Full-time availability (40–45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends).
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Prior experience with hauling, loading/unloading, or operating trailers is a plus.
