DESCRIPTION:
The Content Producer will play a key role in executing high-end film and content production across a variety of clients. Reporting to the SVP, Production this role works closely with Creatives and Client Services team members to ensure seamless production from inception to delivery. The Content Producer will contribute to the oversight of MATTE’s production business unit and support both full-time and contracted production staff.
- Oversee content production from green light to final delivery.
- Manage creative and technical pre- and post-production, including but not limited to: building production plans and schedules, coordinating creative direction, sourcing talent, arranging travel, and leading pre-production meetings.
- Attend shoots as the on-set producer, ensuring execution aligns with creative and client objectives.
- Bid, hire, and manage production partners for assigned projects, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Develop and execute project scopes, timelines, budgets, and staffing plans.
- Collaborate with creative department directors to conceptualize and execute deliverables across all production and client materials.
- Identify project risks and escalate issues proactively.
- Monitor out-of-scope requests and facilitate additional estimates and approvals.
- Act as a client-facing representative on production calls, pitches, and creative discussions.
- Source and manage talent, locations, writers, photographers, and contractors as needed.
- Build, manage, and reconcile budgets of varying scopes and complexity.
- Supervise production staff throughout campaigns, troubleshooting issues that may impact deadlines and deliverables.
- Assess and advise on production and delivery plans, including deliverable requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- 4 years of experience in brand advertising / creative / digital / video production
- A deep understanding of production and post-production workflows
- Track record of managing a team, with experience managing employees with different working styles
- Must be able to think fast, problem solve, present solutions and react positively to unexpected issues
- Approachable, collaborative, results-oriented, problem-solver who can both provide and take direction well.
- Has a great network of vendors and industry connections
- Excels at client relationship management and team management
- Strong work ethic and sense of project ownership
- Experience managing $3-5M department budgets
ANNUAL COMPENSATION RANGE: $80,000-$90,000/year based on experience
