Responsibilities:
- Direct productivity management activities for multiple departments – Shipping/Receiving, Prep/Build, Inventory Control/Parts, Customer Care/Service, Repair, Dispatch & Delivery.
- Ensure adherence to high standards of distribution center cleanliness. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with safety training and practices, create warehouse safety culture on-site.
- Manage employee performance by providing coaching and mentoring, administer performance reviews, and plan and implement employee cross training and development.
- Use data analytics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and develop actionable insights. Leverage data to make informed decisions and propose efficient business solutions.
- Collaborate and partner with other departments, locations and vendors to meet business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement projects by utilizing Lean Principles, Six Sigma techniques. Apply data-driven methodologies to streamline process, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Maintain health and safety standards by creating a safety culture on-site.
- Facilitate employee growth through regular team meetings, coaching and training sessions.
- Ensure that operational goals align with customer satisfaction targets, understanding customer needs, resolving issues and enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
- Must have 3 years of furniture experience in distribution center leadership. Strong analytical skills, data-driven mindset.
- Supervisory Management experience leading a team of both hourly and exempt associates.
- Proficient in Lean Methodologies, Continuous Quality Improvement principles.
- Proven ability to leverage data analysis to drive business insights and solutions.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment – MUST BE HANDS ON.
