What you will do…
- Develop and execute the IT and BI vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals, with ability to execute implementation successfully.
- Manage IT Department, troubleshooting hardware repair, through IT ticket system and basic networking, and STORIS Point of Sale System. Create a collaborative relationship with third party IT Security Management Team maintaining IT ticket system and basic networking.
- Build, develop, evaluate, and retain a highly skilled team of IT and BI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, transparency and accountability with hands on approach.
- Promote a “business-first” mentality across IT and BI teams, emphasizing service to our internal teams including Technical Solutions and Platform Support, and communicating the role technology in achieving company goals.
- Provide strategic and technical expertise while supporting the BI team in creating, building, testing, and delivering reports and dashboards with relevant visualizations.
- Design, plan, implement, test and maintain the computing infrastructure and BI tools that support business operations and applications. This includes gaining an understanding of our internal systems/platforms.
Qualifications:
- STORIS Experience, working within the furniture retail industry – A PLUS!
- 10 years in technology leadership roles with at least 5 years in leadership capacity. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, Project Management
- Experience with key platforms such as SQL Dev Ops,Cisco, Networking, VPN, Network Support, Power BI, ERP Software, POS Systems, One Drive, Azure, Storis ERP, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery. Highly proficient in MS Office & Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong expertise in business intelligence, data management, project management and analytics, including leveraging BI tools to inform strategy to improve critical business metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to craft and implement a strategic vision that aligns IT and BI initiatives with business objectives, delivering measurable results. – RESULTS DRIVEN!
- Proven IT leadership skills in a fast-paced work environment, ability to lead, develop and coach/train team members – Must be a Team Player, highly organized and detail oriented.
- Must have Project Management skills, very task oriented, with ability to follow through to completion, handling multiple projects, priorities.
- Strong communication skills, capable of building consensus and effectively sharing IT and BI vision across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional business insight, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
