We’re currently looking for a dynamic, results-focused Organic Social Media Strategist to join our marketing team based out of our Boston or Newburyport office, working with one of the agency’s largest health and wellness clients. The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for planning and implementation of best-in-class organic social media programs that maximize our client’s success.
Here’s the mix of what you’ll be doing day to day:
Writing social content for brand channels across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and others to maximize engagement and help support business goals
Writing social content for client executive thought leaders aligned to key communications goals and business priorities
Developing and executing creative organic social media strategies, audits and editorial calendars
Designing simple social media graphics and templates in Canva to support post content
Creating social-first video content including shooting and editing mobile content using knowledge of social media best practices
Reviewing metrics and creating monthly and quarterly reporting in collaboration with analysts and other team members, extracting insights and shaping future content and strategy recommendations, grounded in data
Researching trending topics, industry conversations and white space opportunities to develop and inform our social media strategy and approach
Lead client calls and communications, own key deliverables and presentations
Serving as an expert in social, representing the team internally and externally
Along with creativity, drive and self-motivation, your previous experience and attributes will include:
3-5 years' experience developing successful, measurable social media programs, preferably with consumer and B2B brands
Knowledge and expertise of social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, YouTube, etc.
Strong analytical and creative thinking skills with ability to generate insights, understand competitive analysis, and conduct market assessments, and articulate how these insights can inform our strategy
Experience creating and implementing solid social strategies, goal-setting and reporting
Experience working with larger cross-functional marketing and communications teams, navigating organizational politics, and managing multiple stakeholders
Experience developing engaging, creative content for social media including copywriting, video and imagery
Track record of delivering results for clients; raising brand awareness, driving demand and creating creative high-impact connections with customers
A desire to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, team-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with broader social team both in-person and virtually
A creative and results-oriented approach to all work that is produced
Exceptional written communications skills for both social copywriting and client communications
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent client management and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant business experience
