Position: Supervisor - Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Agency
Job Overview:
As a Supervisor at our Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Agency, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise a team of Personal Care Attendants, providing guidance, support, and ongoing feedback to ensure they deliver compassionate care to our clients.
2. Client Care Coordination: Collaborate with case managers and clients' families to assess and identify individual care needs. Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet each client's unique requirements.
3. Staff Scheduling: Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for client care, responding to shift changes and unforeseen absences efficiently.
4. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular evaluations and performance reviews of PCA team members, promoting continuous improvement and recognizing exemplary work.
5. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Oversee accurate and timely documentation of client care records, incident reports, and other required documentation.
6. Training and Development: Organize and facilitate training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of PCA team members, keeping them updated on best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare management, social work, human services) or equivalent experience; additional certifications in healthcare or supervisory roles are advantageous.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably within a home care or PCA agency setting.
