We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers
- Perform regular maintenance on irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems
- Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs
- Dig trenches and install pipes for irrigation system installation
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Collaborate with landscape designers to plan irrigation system layouts
- Provide recommendations for improvements to existing irrigation systems
- Assist with other landscape maintenance tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in irrigation system installation and repair preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to irrigation
- Familiarity with garden and lawn care practices
