Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical, automation, and controls personnel, ensuring optimal team performance.
- Allocate electrical resources effectively to maximize site efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Oversee high, medium, and low voltage activities on-site, ensuring safe and minimal downtime operations.
- Assist in building and improving electrical maintenance systems for the site.
- Communicate with production department employees to identify and address issues with manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance planner to schedule preventive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with manufacturing equipment, including servo drives, Siemens PLCs, process controls, LDR, SCL, Statement lists, FBD, and electrical drawings.
- Maintain all PC process control systems and ensure proper functionality.
- Use WinCC for data collection and production reporting.
- Design and implement control systems to improve machine productivity and product quality.
- Provide after-hours support to assist shift maintenance teams with complex equipment issues.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
- Ensure critical machine settings are properly configured for optimal performance.
- Analyze process issues and resolve them through repairs or adjustments to OEM specifications.
- Complete repairs in a timely manner while keeping costs reasonable.
- Properly allocate parts to the correct work order and cost center.
- Analyze equipment breakdowns to identify and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Communicate unresolved issues to the maintenance planner for attention during preventive maintenance.
- Continuously monitor equipment operations to detect potential inefficiencies or breakdowns.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- At least 5 years of experience with PLC controls (Siemens preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience with servo drives and process controls.
- Minimum 2-year technical degree in manufacturing controls or related field (Computer/Software Engineering degree preferred). Alternatively, 5 years of related experience can substitute the degree.
- Basic computer skills for work order and parts management.
- Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or higher preferred).
- Proficient in Siemens software, including Sematic Manager, TIA Portal, and WinCC.
- Proficient in Allen Bradley (AB) PLC software.
- Ability to program and work with HMIs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
