What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Matthew Dutton Associates?
As a Maintenance Manager, you’ll manage the daily operation and repair of company facilities structure and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Contact and work with outside contractors for new construction projects.
- Contact outside contractors, when necessary, for the repair of equipment.
- Contact outside contractors for repairs pertaining to the facility.
- Purchase janitorial supplies and PPE for the facility.
- Spec out/ get quotes for new equipment.
- Maintain MP2 maintenance software for the equipment and facility.
- Spec out and set up purchase of company vehicles.
- Schedule inspections for sprinkler system, fire system, fire extinguishers, backflow devices, etc.
- Identify and purchase repair parts needed for equipment and facility.
- Work with companies that prepare the necessary reports for ISO 14001 regulations.
- Perform PM's on equipment.
- Perform predictive maintenance on the equipment and facilities.
- Perform electrical repair and troubleshooting on equipment and facilities.
- Perform mechanical repair and troubleshooting on equipment and facilities.
- Deal with OHSA inspections, insurance inspections, landlord inspections, state and local inspections.
- Approve contracts for landscaping and snow removal.
- Approve contracts for trash companies.
- Approve contracts for towel / mat service
- Purchase stamping oils and machine oils.
- Spec and purchase a variety of items used in the manufacturing process.
- Program robots used in manufacturing.
- Perform air compressor PMs'.
- Maintain recycling area for electronics, batteries, bulbs, aerosol cans, copper, etc.
- Schedule pick up for recyclables.
- Schedule pump outs for used oils / coolants, and wash tanks.
- Perform general plumbing repairs.
- Install new air lines, electrical conduit lines, water lines for equipment and facilities.
- Type of equipment to be maintained and/or repaired includes, but not limited to the following:
- Press Room: Metal Stamping Presses, feed lines, nibblers, part detection devises, tonnage monitors, conveyors / Powder Coat Paint Line: Paint guns & hoppers, parts washer, curing ovens, paint booths - automatic & manual / Short Run Soft Tool: Laser machines, turret presses, press brakes, shear, timesaver / Welding Grinding: Robots, welding equipment, dust collecting booths, stud welding equipment / Assembly and Throughout the Departments: Haeger hydraulic presses, rivet guns, rivnut guns, air tools, electric tools.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
