What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Matthew Dutton Associates?
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the Maintenance of Building and Machines
· Keep track of inventory on raw material needed for the maintaining of equipment and building
· Communicate to purchasing any material requirements for maintaining the building or equipment.
· Report to Manufacturing Manager any equipment that is inoperable or in need of maintenance
· Keep records of machine maintenance and preventive maintenance items.
· Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction.
· Responsible for internal process/equipment improvements, including Fabrication
· Ensure electrical, plumbing & HVAC systems are functioning properly
· Plan future projects and construction
· Direct outside contractors as needed
· Ensure fire and security systems are functioning properly
· Assist IT department with IT needs
About You:
· Preferably over 5 years’ experience in similar work
· Knowledge of Computer and Manufacturing Software
· Product & Process Knowledge of investment casting or similar
· Must have the ability to read work order instructions and carry out directions as necessary
· Knowledge of Maintenance and equipment
· Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, HVAC and other systems
· Able to work with minimum supervision
· Priority Setting & Time Management
