Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery and equipment, including mixers, conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps.
- Electrical Work: Repair or replace electrical control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, and motor starters.
- PLC Expertise: Use and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley), including RSL Logix and ladder logic interpretation.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Repair or replace components in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and adjustments to ensure equipment reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production and refrigeration teams to resolve plant issues.
- Safety: Actively participate in the Plant Safety Team and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Training and Documentation: Cross-train maintenance and production operators and assist in developing standard operating procedures.
- Technical Interpretation: Understand and interpret schematics, specifications, and maintenance manuals.
About You
- Education: High School Diploma required; Technical College or PLC Certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and mechanical skills essential.
- Food manufacturing and packaging experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using electrical meters, maintenance tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to move or lift loads of 50 lbs. regularly.
