We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a leading global injection molding company in Chicago. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across two manufacturing facilities.
You’ll work with mechanical punch presses, air compressors, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
- Respond to line calls and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Install, repair, and maintain production equipment.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
- Operate heavy equipment, including scissor lifts and precision measuring instruments.
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and groundskeeping.
What You’ll Need
- 2 years of experience with:
- Mechanical punch presses and air compressors (Required)
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems (Required)
- PLC troubleshooting (Required)
- ISO and OSHA knowledge (Preferred)
- Certification in fork truck and scissor lift operation (Required)
- Experience with packaging and painting line equipment, parts washers, ovens, and welding (Preferred)
- Own tools required

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
