We’re supporting our client, a leading Injection Moulding manufacturer based in Chicago, who are looking for a Mold Tool Designer to join their growing team.
The successful Mold Tool Designer will have experience of Injection Mould Tooling, Project management and CAD/CAM Software.
Position Overview: As a Mold Tool Designer, you'll be a vital part of our operations, ensuring the seamless functioning of our Injection Molding facilities. Your primary focus will be on design, creation and modification of Injection Mold Tooling
Responsibilities for Mold Tool Designer:
- Tooling and Plastic Injection Molding Knowledge
- Project Management skills
- Basic polymer knowledge
- Good communication and ‘team’ ethic
- CAD skills preferably in Autodesk, SolidWorks or Powershape
- Microsoft Office experience
- Customer liaison experience
About You:
- In depth polymer knowledge
- Machining abilities / experience
- At press processing ability
- Component design
- DFM and Moldflow experience
