What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toolmaker position at Matthew Dutton Associates?
- Manufacture, repair, and modify tools, dies, and molds used in production
- Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and grinders for high-precision tooling
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
- Inspect and measure finished tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling and machinery issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker, preferably in mold making
- Strong knowledge of CNC milling machines, lathes, and grinding processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models
- High attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Willingness to work day or night shifts as required
- Understanding of safety protocols and industry standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
