Matthews Collision Center is a premier collision repair facility known for our commitment to excellence in automotive repair and customer service. We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Tear Down Technician to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of quality.
As a Tear Down Technician at Matthews Collision Center, you will be responsible for the initial disassembly of vehicles involved in collisions. Your primary role will be to carefully dismantle the damaged areas of vehicles to assess and document the extent of the damage, ensuring that the necessary parts and repairs are accurately identified.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Disassemble vehicles to inspect and assess damage.
- Document all findings and identify necessary repairs and parts.
- Collaborate with estimators and other technicians to ensure accurate repair plans.
- Maintain an organized work area and manage parts efficiently.
- Assist in the reassembly of vehicles post-repair when necessary.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle structures.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in automotive repair.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
