About the Role:
Are you someone who speaks both Accounting and ERP fluently? We’re looking for a sharp, systems-minded Accounting Systems & ERP Specialist to take ownership of our ERP platform and financial workflows. This role blends controller-level accounting expertise with technical systems management, especially around inventory and cost control.
You’ll be the bridge between departments—ensuring our ERP system isn’t just running, but truly working for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and improve ERP-based accounting, inventory, and operational systems.
- Collaborate across departments to assess needs and build smarter workflows.
- Manage and troubleshoot ERP configurations, customizations, and reporting tools.
- Write, test, and document financial system programs and logic.
- Support internal audits and ensure system accuracy and compliance.
- Train staff and support transitions during upgrades or new feature rollouts.
- Analyze accounting operations and recommend improvements, especially automation opportunities.
- Partner with IT and vendors to ensure performance, scheduling, and data integrity.
Work Environment:

Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience, generally ranging from $75,000 to $125,000, with flexibility for the right candidate. Benefits package included.
- Mid-Level (3–5 years experience): $75,000 – $95,000
- Senior-Level (5–10 years, ERP admin accounting depth): $95,000 – $115,000
- Top-Tier / Remote Specialist / ERP Implementation Experience: Up to $125,000 (niche ERP systems experience or can act as both Controller ERP lead)
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Background in accounting with a strong understanding of financial systems and inventory controls.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Acumatica, Epicor, etc.).
- Technical skillset that includes scripting, programming, or strong systems administration.
- Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills—comfortable working with both tech teams and business users.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in ERP or financial systems roles.
Nice to Have:
- ERP implementation/migration experience
- SQL or database querying
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with internal controls and audit processes
