Summary: We’re seeking a dynamic Outside Salesperson to join our team and drive growth in parts and service sales within the Fleet Management sectors. This role will focus on developing new business, nurturing client relationships, and providing tailored solutions to meet our customers' needs. The ideal candidate is motivated, knowledgeable in vehicle parts and maintenance services, and experienced in selling to businesses like fleets, truck & trailer repair shops, and upfitters. Strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a customer-first approach, are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Identify New Sales Opportunities
Prospect, identify, and qualify new customers within the fleet management sectors, targeting dealerships, fleets, independent repair shops, OEMs, and upfitters. - Build and Maintain Customer Relationships
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring continuous business and a deep understanding of their needs and preferences. - Conduct Client Needs Assessments
Meet with customers to understand their specific requirements for parts and service solutions, providing personalized recommendations that align with their business goals. - Present and Sell Products and Services
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of our parts inventory and service offerings to clients, effectively pitching the benefits and advantages of each. - Negotiate Sales Agreements
Prepare and present quotes, handle negotiations on pricing and terms, and close sales agreements with a focus on mutually beneficial outcomes. - Achieve Sales and Revenue Targets
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and maintaining an active sales pipeline. - Collaborate with Internal Teams
Work closely with the service, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and support for clients' needs and any specific contract terms. - Monitor Market Trends and Competitor Activity
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions, adjusting sales strategies to stay competitive. - Provide After-Sales Support
Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, address any issues, and reinforce client loyalty through exceptional service. - Report on Sales Activities: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections, providing regular updates to sales management.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven outside sales experience in the automotive or trucking industry, with a focus on parts and services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel to client locations as needed.
- Valid driver’s license, CDL is a plus but not a deal breaker
