EHS Manager
As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety initiatives across the organization. This includes managing behavior-based safety (BBS) programs, ergonomics, risk assessments, EHS training, machine guarding, and fostering employee engagement in safety practices.
Requirements of the EHS Manager
- 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with local EHS laws, regulations, and standards, especially those related to hazardous materials and plating chemicals
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
- Experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing role with specific exposure to chemical handling and plating processes
Responsibilities of the EHS Manager
- Assess, evaluate, quantify, and prioritize EHS risks
- Create and deliver training programs
- Oversee and manage the handling and storage of hazardous chemicals as well as implement safety measures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections
Schedule is Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $80,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience
