CNC Machinist
A fast-growing manufacturing company in Milwaukee, WI is looking for CNC Machinist to join their 1st or 2nd shift team. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!
Requirements of the CNC Machinist
- 4 years of CNC Operations and Setup experience in a production and/or machining environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- G-code programming experience
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
- Set up, program, and run CNC machines – verticals, shuttles, bars, and 5-axis
- Ensure the CNC machines are operating at the highest level of productivity appropriate to the assigned project
- Review set-up sheets and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions
- Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position them in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools
- Measure work piece for conformance to specification using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gages
- Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change cutters to machine parts according to specifications
1st and 2nd shift available, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $32.00 - $36.00 an hour, willing to pay more depending on experience
