Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

The Opportunity

The forklift Operator is responsible for the loading and unloading or trucks and trailers in a timely and safe manner, verifying and or supplying receipt documentation. In additions this role will also stock products in the yard; including, loading, unloading, staging, and inspection of all inbound/outbound shipments and verifying documentation for accuracy. The Forklift Operator will also perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment to minimize down time and repair costs.

Duties & Accountabilities

• Unloading trucks, inspecting, and stocking of incoming pipe and materials. Verifying and or supplying receipt documentation.
• Stocking pipe products in the yard.
• Loading, staging, inspecting outgoing shipments and verifying documentation for accuracy.
• Performing pertinent daily safety inspections on material handling equipment to minimize down time and repair cost.
• General cleanup of the immediate work area required daily.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Experience and confidence using ERP systems.
• Must have 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Have a general understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Multi tasking.
• Ability to make decisions with little supervision.
